About The Game
Welcome, you've arrived at yet another celebrity roleplaying game. Now, what makes us different than others? Why should you join here? Well, besides the fact that the mods are active and all around nice guys, this game was created as a safe haven for slash. Yes, we said slash, be it femme or otherwise. That said, of course we don't turn down het either, whatever floats your boat, really. Now, we know that slash games aren't anything brand new, but this place was created by players jumping a sinking ship, so we're going to be working hard to keep this one going. We have two communities, ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) open for In Character things, random posts, lyrics, intros... etc. And closed for Out Of Character things, mod announcements, adds, player announcements... etc.
A Few Rules
Now, I think you all know the basic etiquette of roleplay, so we're only going to go over the most important ones.
1. First and foremost, there will be NO IC/OOC crossing. No harassing players OOC. No god-modding or controlling someone else's celebrity without permission.
2. Keep things realistic please. That means that you should try and keep up with what your celebrity is doing, where they are and what's going on in their life. Of course this is all fun and games too so artistic liberties are allowed to a certain extent, and of course we understand that you can't keep tabs on EVERYTHING your celebrity does either. Pregnancies last the full 9 months, real time. No M-Preg! And while we do allow incest, it's more of a "allow". It's a tricky plot to do because bear in mind that it is illegal in most places when the parties are too closely related, so while we allow it, it comes with a word of warning.
3. No celebrities under the age of 18. And only celebrities will be accepted. (no scene queens, socialites etc.) However, we will make an exception for RL spouses or close family members. Also, Journal names must have at least a part of your celebrities name in them, and please try to limit the xx's and underscores.
4. Updated We have no character limit, but please be active. Anything after 3 must be mod approved due to activity concerns! If you prove to be an active writer you won't have a problem. ;]
5. Journals must be updated once a month. If for some reason you need an extension when it comes time for you to update, contact the mods with a reason so we know not to remove you. Also, overrides; If we notice that someone hasn't shown ANY activity in 3 weeks, no logging on aim (staying away doesn't count towards activity), so sub comm posts, no comments... etc. Then said person will be overridable until they show activity or get removed.
6. Hiatus will generally be granted up to 3 weeks. Of course RL often presents difficult circumstances though, so just contact the mods if you need longer time off and usually that's not a problem.

We don't allow challenges on the holds so it's mostly first come, first served. Examples can be a first entry, an example journal, or you can post us your examples in the Mod Drop Box, whichever way suits you best.
